My name is Andy Marcer, and to say “I like motorcycles” is an understatement—it’s been a full-blown love affair since I first rode one at age ten. I’m 56 now, and I still race off-road, fix up old classics, and ride whenever I can. I started out as a mechanic—though folks call me a “professional technician,” I prefer the straightforward honesty of “mechanic.” I’ve done it all: from shop tech to shop owner, from European bike specialist to running an MV Agusta dealership. I even restore classic Mercedes-Benz cars in my spare time.
But my heart truly belongs in the mountains. Ten years ago, I moved into my dream home in the high country of Colorado, and I’ve never looked back. I commute through off-road trails, take solo camping trips, and venture out on multi-day journeys with just me, my machine, and nature. Those experiences led me to create Marcer Mountain Adventures, where I can share the excitement of rugged exploration with others. When I’m not out riding, you’ll find me in my small-town shop, tinkering away on bikes—because for me, the work is as rewarding as the ride. I’m grateful every day for this life on two wheels, and I can’t wait to see where the next trail leads.
